Second TMNT trailer online in high quality

From the first teaser trailer for TMNT, it was hard to get a good idea of what the movie was really going to look like. This second trailer, however, shows so much more, and makes it apparent that the studios involved are pulling out all the stops to make sure TMNT is going to be a great looking movie. The story, about an industrialist who is amassing an army of ancient monsters to take over the world, is quite interesting too, and seems to fit perfectly with our four heroes, who will have their hands full trying to stop this nightmare from coming true. This movie looks like a lot of fun, but we'll have to wait until the end of March for it to be released.

Moviefone has three new pictures of TMNT up on their weblog. While they don't show much that we haven't seen before, it's still nice to have another look at what may be one of the coollest movies of the year (at least to those nostalgics who still remember playing the Turtles videogames in the arcades back in the day...).

There is a new trailer for one of the most hotly anticipated movies of next year, TMNT (or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, in case you were wondering). It's got a lot more action and a much better look at the new Turtles than the teaser trailer, and I am sure all the fans are really going to dig it. I'm sure I did! So far the trailer is only on the site of MTV, where you have to click on on the center of this page, where it says: "When Ninja Turtles Attack." Enjoy!

The Animated Movies for 2007

2006 was a very succesful year for animated movies. A dozen of them debuted in theaters worldwide, and even though not all of them were breakout hits (think Ant Bully, Everyone's Hero), most of them were at least able to pack theaters for several weeks, with some of them (Cars, Ice Age 2, Happy Feet) found their way into territory marked 'box office smash'. So, now we've seen the debut of 2006's last animated movie Happy Feet, it is time to look forward to 2007, which looks to be another banner year for (digital) animation (Story includes the trailers).

TMNT (or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) is looking like one of the big things for early 2007. You may have thought that the Turtles were dead and buried after their last movie bombed, but the cgi-makeover they have received for this new movie has done them a lot of good. In the teaser trailer, it all looks smooth, it looks impressive, and in between the cool visuals the makers even found time to include a joke that was predictable, but still funny. A movie to keep an eye out for.
