Earlier this week I put a poll online asking you who the toughest action movie hero from the 80's and 90's is. One of the options I gave you was Charly Baltimore, Geena Davis' character from The Long Kiss Goodnight, and even though none of you has yet voted for her, you might be interested to know that a sequel to that movie might just be underway. At least, that's what Samuel L. Jackson, co-star of the original movie, told MTV recently. According to Jackson, they (no word on who 'they' is, but I'm guessing Renny Harlin is also involved) are developing story ideas, with one of them being a story where Charly Baltimore has been killed, and her daughter sets out to find the men responsible for this. The Long Kiss Goodnight was a pretty good action movie, and a sequel would be most welcome. I don't always appreciate sequels that much, but if it means bringing back some of that good ol' 80's/90's adrenaline action, then by all mean go ahead!
