New Ant Bully Trailer online

The Ant Bully looks like it could be a fun animated movie, and the new trailer only furthers that suspicion. It's not the most spectacular trailer we have seen this summer, and also not the coolest trailer for an animated movie opening this year, but it seems to bring the type of adventure that we don't see in movies often enough. The trailer shows a lot more about the pic than the teaser trailer did, giving you a quick rundown of the whole story, but stopping before it becomes too spoilerific. Then again, this seems to be a pretty by the numbers, storywise, so we probably cannot really expect anything too shockingly original. Still, the movie looks good, the trailer has some funny jokes and it's all good enough to at least pique your interest! It's just a shame that the trailer is in an almost ant-size resolution...

The Ant Bully is gearing up for release, and it's starting to look like more fun every day. There's five new character posters for the movie online, and they seem like a guarantee for  a fun movie. I especially like the one for the Nicholas Cage character, and am curious how he has voiced it.

The Ant Bully is probably the lowest profile movie out of all the animated movies coming out this summer. Shame, since the premise (little boy messes up an ant colony, only to be shrunk to the size of an ant and taught a no doubt valuable lesson) seems like a lot of fun and the art design is pretty cool. You can probably expect this movie to get a lot of attention however when the other big animated movies have come and gone and people start noticing all the big names on the poster (Julia Roberts, Nicolas Cage, Meryl Streep, Paul Giamatti). The stuff above the names is also interesting enough to attract attention, as it shows the titular Ant Bully and his friends, with the real bully of the movie hovering above them. Kids will love the design and the adventure this image promises, while parents will probably go for the big names. A successful poster then.
