The release of Ghost Rider is slowly coming closer, and even though early buzz is still not good, things like this little videoclip might turn opinions. In this, you will see how Johnny Blaze (Nicholas Cage) transforms into Ghost Rider, and I have to say it looks pretty cool. Raimi bringing more superheroes to the big screen

Sam Raimi, acclaimed director of, amongst others, the Spider-Man movies, is planning on bringing a host of other superheroes to the screen. He has taken control of the rights to almost all heroes from the defunct comic book publisher Street and Smith Publications. Street and Smith used to publish heroes like Doc Savage, The Shadow and The Avenger. Not much more info, sadly, but Raimi seems to be excited, as he is planning to direct the movie himself. In my opinion the previous movie starring The Shadow, starring Alec Baldwin as the titular character, is one of the most underrated superhero movies in history, with it's cool style and intriguing story. I'm really looking forward to seeing what Raimi is going to do with this character, as well as the many others.

Painkiller Jane to replace Battlestar Galactica on Fridays

When Battlestar Galactica returns for it's second part of the season in January, after going on a short break December 15th, the show will no longer be shown on Friday. Instead, the show is going to move to Sunday. According to the general manager of the Sci Fi Channel, Dave Howe, "sundays have long been considered an important night for television. The scheduling change is a signal to our viewers that this is destination programming and should be considered appointment viewing. It only makes sense that Sci Fi would plant its signature series there." Sci Fi will replace Battlestar Galactica with new superhero show Painkiller Jane, based on the cult Event comic from the 90's.

Ooh, pretty Transformers pics!

While we have seen plenty of unofficial pictures from the new Transformers movie, there hasn't been very much official to get excited about yet. This stops today however, with these great shots op both Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. I'll admit that I think Prime looks maybe a little bit too flashy, like a pimped up version of the Prime we know from the cartoons, but Bumblebee looks just like any fan would want him. New Ghost Rider poster 'smokin' hot'

It seems all the rage at the moment: posters that change from different angles. We've seen this in the new posters for Spider-Man, and now the new Ghost Rider poster is following suit. I must say, the effect is pretty cool, and the image used on the poster is one of the first times I actually felt like they were getting the character right. Posters should make people feel a lot more confident about this movie. Fantastic Four get a sweet ride

The second Fantastic Four movie is under heavy scrutiny from the fans, who are a bit suspicious whether or not this sequel will answer more to their expectations than the first movie. However, the first image of the Fantastic Four mobile, the Fantasticar, are a good indication that things might be on the right track. It looks very slick, and from what I can remember from reading the comic, quite true to the original.
