New Poll: What is the worst superhero movie ever?

As I read the news about Akiva Goldsman bringing the Teen Titans to the movies, I was immediately reminded of his involvement with Batman and Robin. He wrote the screenplay for that movie, and although he cannot be blamed entirely for the atrocity that ended up on the screen, I'm a bit worried about what is going to be made of the Teen Titans. Then I started wondering: what other crap superhero movies have there been? Well, plenty, and now the time has come for you to decide which of the bad superhero movies that have been made in the past was actually the worst of them all. New poll! Maxim thinks Lindsay Lohan is the hottest actress out there. But who is your favorite?

Maxim has released their list of today's 100 hottest women, a list that was of course filled to the brim with actresses. Their choice for number 1 was Lindsay Lohan, which kind of surprised me (though looking at her pictures from the Maxim Hot 100 party makes me think they may not have been that wrong with their choice). However, now it's time for you guys and gals to vote who you think should top the list of hottest actresses out there right now (I promise I'll also make a list of hottest actors someday, ladies!). For the voting, I took the highest ranked actresses from Maxim's list (the ones best known for their movie work), and added some of my personal favorite actresses. Poll: Now that Spider-Man 3 is in the cinemas, which upcoming superhero movie do you look forward to?

Spider-man 3 is the movie that was on top of a lot of people's most wanted lists from the moment it was announced, but now that it's out in theaters, we need a new movie at the top of our most wanted list. And since there are many superhero movies coming up, with some looking better than others, I'd like to know which one of these you would most like to see. Is it Iron Man? The Incredible Hulk? Underdog? Well, maybe not that last one, but there are plenty of others coming up that look interesting enough. Summer movie season is almost upon us, and it looks like this could be a great summer for movie fans everywhere. Last year's summer was a little disappointing, and there is a chance that all these threequels don't really bring anything new to the table, but when you have beloved characters like Spider-Man, Jack Sparrow, Shrek and Harry Potter (to name but a few) battling it out in cinemas this summer, things cannot really go wrong. So I'd like to know: which summer blockbuster do you most look forward to? The New Weekly Movie Poll: What is your favorite 80's kids movie?

The 80's were a great age for original, fun kids movies. I still watch flicks like Back to the Future, The Goonies, Ghostbusters and Weird Science every now and again, and the list of great pics in this genre seems to be practically endless. I notice that a lot of my friends, as well as movie lovers I talk to, agree with me that kids movies haven't been better since that time, so it's high time for a poll to decide which of these movies is really the best. I made a list of the ten kids flicks from that period that I liked the most personally, and ask you to vote for your favorite. Weekly Movie Poll results: Jack Black is the funniest guy in movies today!

According to the readers of ScribbleKing.com, Jack Black is the funniest actor working in movies today. Black got 24 percent of the votes from you guys and gals, far ahead of the number two on the list, Will Ferrell, who got 14 percent. Ferell was followed by Adam Sandler with 13 percent, Ben Stiller with 12 percent and Owen Wilson with 11 percent. The midfield was made up of Steve Carrell (9 percent), and Eddie Murphy (8 percent), with Jon Heder (4 percent), Robin Williams (also 4 percent) and Chris Rock (1 percent) closing out the list. Congratulations to Mr. Black then! I guess a lot of you loved him just as much in Nacho Libre as I did...

Weekly Poll: Who is the funniest guy in movies today?

This week, I would like to pick your brain over something serious: comedy in movies. There are few things as horrible as having to sit through a funny movie that isn't funny. Hollywood seems to be getting better and better at the laughless comedy, as practically every big comedy released this year so far was awful short on real laughs. Still, the actor in the lead in one of these movies, Eddie Murphy, used to be one of the funniest guys in the movies. Now I wonder if you still think he is, or if you think there are other people who are funnier than he is. I made a list of ten actors who you can mostly see in comedies, and who are all trying very hard to make you laugh at what you are doing. Which of these guys do you think is the funniest?
