There are quite a few websites on the web for the Superman-movies, but not many of them are as well informed and fun to read as supermancinema.co.uk. The site is being maintained by a Superman-fan named Dharmesh, who has a very clear opinion on the movies, the first one clearly being his favorite, Bryan Singer's version clearly being not. I Love this movie! Extraordinary ET collector Nick Gjoka

Et is a movie that still has a special place in the hearts of many of it's fans. When it was released, back in the 80's, it caused a mass hype, that for once was backed up by a movie with some real substance. Many people went to see the movie more than once, and even nowadays there are still many people out there who spend a lot of their time watching the movie and collecting it's huge collection of merchandise. There is probably nobody in this world with a bigger collection than New Yorker Nick Gjoka though. Nick also owns website www.iloveet.com, and he's the driving force behind the ET NYC Halloween parade, which consists of many ET fans riding around New York on their bikes, dressed like Elliott and with an ET in a basket in front of them. I Love this movie! Back to the Future fan Stephen Clark

If you have been reading this site for some time, you might recall that Back to the Future is one of my all-time favorite movies. Which is why this movie is a shoe-in for I Love This Movie! I contacted Stephen Clark, webmaster of the great Back to the Future-website BTTF, who responded with some very interesting answers to my many questions about those three wonderful movies, the closing of the popular theme park ride and whether or not the time/space continuum was actually ever broken in the three movies.

Who hasn't seen The Sound of Music at least a few times? it's more or less seen as the quintessential movie musical, and has many fans all over the world, who go to special karaoke screenings of their favorite, to sing along with the many great songs from the picture. Catherine Meechan is one of the movie's biggest fans. The Sound of Music was the first movie she ever saw in the cinema, and she has watched it many times since, even starting her own website about it. I love this movie! Gremlins fan JP Cupertino

Just a few weeks ago movie studio Warner Bros. announced that they were going to be releasing a Direct to DVD sequel to the two original Gremlins movies. Director Joe Dante let it be known that he wanted to have nothing to do with this sequel, since in his opinion the Gremlins-story was over and done with. Still, Gremlins fans became excited, and even though I don't have high hopes for the quality of this Gremlins 3, I am interested to see the characters from the brilliant Gremlins and the fun Gremlins 2 return. A sentiment shared by JP Cupertino, webmaster of the most popular Gremlins website on the net, Gremlins Online. I asked him all about his passion for those green menaces.

I Love This Movie! Lion King webmaster extraordinaire Brian Tiemann

I've always been a fan of Disney movies. There was a time when I used to go to the American Bookstore in Amsterdam every month to see if there were new books about Disney and their movies and themeparks, and would buy anything I could get my hands on. It was the time of movies like Aladdin, The Lion King and Hunchback of the Notre Dame, three great Disney movies that I still rewatch every now and then, enjoying them every bit as much as during earlier viewings. But while I really love The Lion King, I cannot claim to be as big an enthusiast as Brian Tiemann, a man who has been making the premier Lion King site on the web for 13 years now and who can speak of the movie with a passion that made me want to dig the DVD out of my collection and re-watch it again.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE! Who ya gonna call? Ghostbusters fan Paul Rudoff

I can still remember seeing the original Ghostbusters movie for the first time. It was the hot topic at school at that time, and I can remember 'playing Ghostbusters' with my friends during lunchtime, where I mostly ended up as the Rick Moranis character, while I, like everybody else, would much rather be Bill Murray! The sequel wasn't as good but still fun enough, and after that things were quiet. A sequel was announced but never made, at least not until Dan Aykroyd dropped a bomb just last week: Ghostbusters 3 will be made, and it will be all cgi! Quite a coïncidence, since I had no idea of this when I e-mailed Ghostbusters fan-supreme Paul Rudoff about his love for the movie. Incidentally perfect timing then for this interview!

[interview, movies] Herbie, the lovable little VW Beetle, has many fans all over the world. Not many of these fans are as enthusiastic as Dave Evans though. He is the man behind the Herbie the Love Bug Fan Club and Historical Society and has his very own Herbie to drive around with. It is clear that Dave loves the movies and the car, and he goes out of his way to help other Herbie fans out. I interviewed him to coïncide with the release of Herbie: Fully Loaded on DVD.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE Going on a Goonies vacation

You never know where your love for a certain movie might take you. When Goonies-fans Ron Fugelseth and Patrick Radcliff needed a holiday, they decided to go to Astoria, where much of the classic eighties adventure movie was shot. They took their videocamera with them, turned what they found in Astoria into a documentary, and put it online. Before they realised it, the download counter reached 75.000, Steven Spielberg and Richard Donner watched their movie and loved it, and many fans from all over the world visited the site and shared their memories. Which led to a new idea: what if Ron and Patrick would do it all over again, but this time professionally? I was able to interview them about the upcoming release of their ultimate Goonies-documentary, their love for the movie and the legendary Truffle Shuffle.
