While we are still in the middle of one of the most lucrative summers in history, Hollywood is already thinking way ahead, to next year and even the year after that. According to an interesting article on the Variety website, studios are eager to match this year's performance, and they have some big movies lined up already. There are high expectations for summer movies like Indiana Jones 4, Prince Caspian and The Dark Knight, which not only have to battle each other, but also two other big attention grabbers: The European Football Championships and the Summer Olympics. In 2006, the World Football Championship put a big dent in the box office, which is why some of the biggest movies of next year will only be released in the Fall. Movies like James Bond 23, Harry Potter 6 and the new Dan Brown movie Angels and Demons. The schedule for 2008 has been fully planned already, and now the studios are busy planning 2009.
