I love reading books, and there wasn't a single book I loved reading more last year than The Time Traveller's Wife. It's a brilliant combination of time travel and romance and is both totally original and a genuinely wonderful read. The movie version of this book has been announced already before the book was even published, but there still hasn't been much word on the movie version. Rachel McAdams has been mentioned as a frontrunner for the female lead (excellent choice, I actually pictured her in that role when I read the book) and now we have some more news. Screenwriter Bruce Joel Rubin, who wrote Ghost, amongst many other things, has now been asked to rewrite the existing screenplay for the movie, which hopefully means the production of the movie is finally getting a much needed boost towards a real production start date.
