British actor Bill Nighy was interviewed by ComingSoon.net about his role as villain Davy Jones in the second Pirates movie. It's an interesting read, as Nighy tells us that the second movie will be "weirder than [the first one]. It's another step forward in terms of weird," mainly referring to the bad guys in this movie. He also goes into the fact that his face was made completely by cgi, and how it was to enter a franchise as successful as Pirates. And he assures us the movie will be great. "Yes, I'd seen the first one, and like everybody else, I loved it, so I was very thrilled when they approached me. I got a call from Gore Verbinski, the brilliant director, and we talked about it, I read the script and it took about 30 seconds to say, "Yes." The script was extremely good, as you would expect from those guys, and if you dug the first movie, you'll get a huge bang out of the second one. I was very pleased to be involved."
