Martin Scorcese's new movie gets a new name

Martin Scorcese's new thriller has been renamed. Originally, the movie was going to be called Shutter Island, but the director has decided to change the name of the movie to Ashecliffe. The name corresponds with the name of the mental institution where the movie takes place. The movie stars Leonardo DiCaprio as a US Marshall who is sent to Ashecliffe when a multiple murderer disappears. The movie is scheduled for release in 2009.

More names for GI Joe movie

Several more people have signed on for roles in the upcoming GI Joe movie. Dennis Quaid will be General Hawk, while Channing Tatum has signed on as Duke, the second in command on the international search and rescue team. Also signed is The Mummy's Arnold Vosloo, while theater actor David Murray will be starring as the movie's main villain, Destro. So, with most of the cast complete now shooting on the movie will start next month.
