Carice happy with Black Book role

In a fun interview with Variety, Carice van Houten tells that she is happy with her role in Paul Verhoeven's Zwartboek (Black Book). She considers her part as Rachel to be her most developed role so far, in a long career that has already spawned several award winning roles. Even though she says: "I'm not the typical Verhoeven woman who just takes advantage or is just a bitch." The interview goes into her first steps as an actress, as well as the nudity in Black Book. "I'm not an exhibitionist. I'm nervous when I have to do scenes like that, but I survive with a lot of humor. So on the set, instead of trying to hide myself, I just show my body and say, 'This is the material we're going to work with, boys.' " For the full interview, click here.
