Thinkgeek has some new Transformers shirts, which will inspire both love and hate. The thing is that the logos on these shirts animate, in different patterns too, which is both super cool (if you own the shirt) and highly annoying (if somebody sitting across from you on the bus has the shirt and has it turned on all the time). In that case you can hope that it rains, as the shirts are battery powered and maybe not entirely water proof...

Shia LaBeouf is, in his own words, the luckiest guy around. Even though he thinks he is not that talented, he still gets to star in two of the biggest movies on the planet, this summer's Transformers and next summer's Indiana Jones 4. Personally I think that this much 'luck' needs to have some ground in the fact that he at least must have some talent (which he showed in movies like Bobby and Disturbia), but hey, if he wants to make the rest of the world feel bad at the fact that we don't have as much luck as he does, then be my guest.
IESB.net has a couple of cool new featurettes where you can see how the Transformers movies were actually shot. It's funny to see this scene where a large group of extras has to pretend running for their lives when stuff is blown up all around them, and the extras look like they are actually genuinely scared shitless. Lots of other good stuff in these featurettes, and as a bonus IESB also has some scenes from the movie waiting for you.
Aint It Cool News has some early reviews for the upcoming Transformers movie, and if they are to be believed, we are in for something special. Now I was already pretty sure of that after seeing all of the trailers, so it's nice to see my expectations backed up by these words from people who have actually seen the movie.
I'm guessing that this is the TV-spot I posted a link to yesterday, but with all those spots and clips for Transformers it's hard to keep them apart. Anyway, it's now online in a very high resolution and it's exactly like a spot for an expensive summer blockbuster should be: mindblowing! Get clicking, and get ready to keep clicking so you can see it again and again.
We have already seen a good deal of Transformers posters doing the rounds, but so far none of them have been as cool as this latest one, which must rank amongst the most impressive movie posters we have seen all year. It features Optimus Prime, as well as Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox, and, well, to use an eighties verb, it's AWESOME! The winner of this week's I Wouldn't Mind That Hanging On My Wall award.
They just keep on releasing these things: there is a new TV-spot online for Transformers. The good thing about them, though, is that with every new one they keep showing you just a little bit more of what we can expect from the movie, without spoiling too much. So you don't have to worry about clicking through, your appetite for this movie won't be spoiled!

If it's up to Michael Bay, he will keep making Transformers movies as long as they are successcul. At a Korean press conference, Bay said he loves the franchise and that if the first movie got a good reaction from the audience, he wouldn't mind making number 2, 3, 4 and 5 and so on. Also on hand was Megan Fox, who told the press that her favorite character from the movie was Bumblebee, and that she liked Starscream the most in the cartoon, since she thinks he has such a sexy voice.
