In case you are wondering what happened to the Simpsons theme song when you are watching the movie, you can blame Green Day. They recorded the new song, which will be released in three different ways: Warner Bros Records will release it as a single, Fox Music will sell the score to the movie digitally, and Extreme Music will sell the CD in clamshell cases that are shaped like a donut. I'll have me one of that last variation please! Besides remaking the theme song, Green Day will also star in the movie.
