The Ant Bully is probably the lowest profile movie out of all the animated movies coming out this summer. Shame, since the premise (little boy messes up an ant colony, only to be shrunk to the size of an ant and taught a no doubt valuable lesson) seems like a lot of fun and the art design is pretty cool. You can probably expect this movie to get a lot of attention however when the other big animated movies have come and gone and people start noticing all the big names on the poster (Julia Roberts, Nicolas Cage, Meryl Streep, Paul Giamatti). The stuff above the names is also interesting enough to attract attention, as it shows the titular Ant Bully and his friends, with the real bully of the movie hovering above them. Kids will love the design and the adventure this image promises, while parents will probably go for the big names. A successful poster then.
