Adding his name to the growing list of people criticizing the latest Spider-Man movie, George Lucas has told an interviewer for Fox News that he thinks the movie is silly. "It's silly. It's a silly movie. There just isn't much there. Once you take it all apart, there's not much story, is there?" Then he goes on to say: "People thought Star Wars was silly, too, but it wasn't." I'm pretty sure there are plenty of people who have a different opinion on that... Still, it doesn't happen that often that movie directors so openly criticize their colleagues, so let's wait and see whether or not Sam Raimi is going to come with a reaction to this bit of news.
