Do you know that excited feeling you get when you are watching the beginning of a movie, and you just know that everything that follows will be great? It's a feeling that does not happen very often, so whenever a movie is able to achieve it, you have to cherish it and enjoy it to the fullest. It's the kind of feeling you would like to grab and put in a bottle, so that you can open the bottle whenever you want and experience a little bit more of it. Now for a movie to achieve this feeling, it does not even have to be perfect, like Sin City (Score: * * * *) isn't perfect. But when you are sitting on the edge of your seat mumbling to yourself "This is good, this is really good", you just know that you have struck movie gold.

Sin City Reviews mostly very positive

Checking Rotten Tomatoes, you can see that most American reviewers react very positive to the movie, even though the score is not as high as I would have expected. So far, 76 percent of all the reviews has been positive, although tomorrow will be the day when most reviews appear and the score can still change then. So far though, there are mostly comments that make the waiting for us Europeans even worse than it already is. Victoria Alexander from Filmsinreview.com calls the movie "Great, meanspirited fun," while one of my favorite reviewers, James Berardinelli, mentions that "there is something to appreciate around every corner. The gritty characters, the uncompromising story, and, most of all, visuals to astound and amaze." Even the negative reviews are at the least positive about the visual style of the movie, but "the most deadly thing in Sin City is the crushing boredom that sets in after the novelty of the visual style has worn off," according to Jurgen Fauth of About.com. Well, I think that I will just believe the positive reviews until I have seen the movie myself. You can click on the link and see what other critics have to say.

First Sin City Reviews Online

Well, I am not actually sure if they really are the first, but at least they are some of the first and they are online at Ain't it cool news. No review by Harry Knowles yet, but by some of his scoopers (32 to be exact). One reviewer liked the movie so much that 'he camed in his pants'. Well, that's quite big praise, especially since most reviews seem to be this positive. That's exactly what all the people who have been looking forward to this movie were hoping for. There's some negative stuff too, but overal this will only help the anticipation get higher for this movie. You can read the reviews here.
