Yeah, I know this image isn't that new, but for some reason my eyes have been able to avoid looking at them until five minutes ago. I guess this picture tells all I need to know about this Eddie Murphy in a fat suit movie: "Don't watch it!"
If you wouldn't know that this is an image from Jon Heder's new movie Blades of Glory, in which he plays a figure skater with a special peacock move to stun the audience, you would probably wonder if you are seeing things right. On second thought, even if you do know, this is still an image that will probably make you scratch your head.
Okay, I dare you to click that image for a bigger look, without laughing. You're probably thinking to yourself: "What on earth is Christopher Walken doing in that stupid wig?" And that's exactly what I was thinking. Well, this is all part of his character in new movie Balls of Fire. According to IMDB, this movie is all about a scret society. "the competition is brutal; the stakes are high; and the balls --more often than not-- are white. Welcome to the unsanctioned, underground, and utterly unhinged world of clandestine ping-pong tournaments. Down-and-out former professional ping-pong phenom, Randy Daytona (Fogler), is sucked into this maelstrom when FBI Agent Ernie Rodriguez (Lopez) recruits him for a secret mission. Randy is determined to bounce back and win, and to smoke out his father's killer -- arch-fiend Feng (Walken)." Okay, that explains it... Balls of Fury is made by the guys behind TV-show Reno 911, which is also coming to theaters soon. You can expect it in cinemas in April 2007 in the States, with releases in other parts of the world to follow.
