Take a good look at this poster and wonder to yourself if it looks familiar. The answer is: yes it does, since this is exactly the same poster as the Taiwanese one released a few weeks ago, only in English. So, in case you were wondering what those characters on the Taiwanese poster said: click the thumbnail!
There's a new poster online for the adaptation of Neil Gaiman's Stardust. It looks very much like the first one, but all the characters have been re-arranged a bit, the colors have been changed, and there's a new tagline: The fairytale that won't behave, which will probably appeal more to most people than the earlier one (Summer a Star Falls. The Chase Begins.) which was interesting, but didn't really say much.
The Transformers poster love is continuing, and I have to say: whoa! These three new international character posters are very cool indeed, giving some personality to the characters. I especially like the word 'Protect' or 'Destroy' under the characters, and I wonder how cool it would be if you would have a poster for all the main bots in the movie. But for now, this will do!
Following right on the tail of the Taiwanese poster, here is another poster for the upcoming Transformers movie. It's not that stylish as the earlier ones, trying to cram in too much elements, and it feels like the two humans, Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf, in the poster are a bit boxed in (although this probably means that they are boxed in between the good bots and the bad bots, designers are such clever people!), and Josh Duhamel has disappeared. I'm guessing that might be because Duhamel isn't as well known outside the US. Or maybe there just wasn't any more room for him. Click!
Following the reveal of Heath Ledger's face on one of the Dark Knight teaser websites, here is the same image on the first teaser poster for the movie. I have to say that this way, in high resolution and in this size, the image is even more imposing than it already was in the first place. I wonder though what the general public, who haven't been hunting for The Joker's face, is going to say about this poster, and about the fact that "Hey, this isn't like Jack Nicholson at all!" I like this teaser poster a lot, what do you think?
Check out this cool looking Taiwanese poster for the Transformers movie, which is plenty different from the other posters we have seen for the movie so far. It features the heads of Bumblebee, Optimus Prime and Megatron, as well as smaller images of the human stars of the movie, Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel and the 'even looking great this tiny' Megan Fox.
Two international posters have been released for upcoming Dane Cook/Jessica Alba romcom Good Chuck Luck. The movie stars Cook as a guy (what do you know, he's called Chuck!) who is sort of a good luck charm to women. Whenever they have sex with him, they can be sure they will get married soon. Well, not to Chuck of course, which means the good luck is not directed at him. Then Chuck meets a girl who is supremely accident prone, and falls in love with her. The feeling is mutual, but Chuck is afraid to have sex with her, afraid as he is this will mean she will also get married to someone else. The posters have an interesting visual style, and even though the one with Cook is pretty banal, I couldn't help but chuckle (get it? chuck-le!) at it. Besides which the Alba poster has a great picture of her. Eating icecream. Which has nothing to do with the movie at all. Oh well.
There's been a new poster released for Iron Man, and even though it's basically the Iron Man image we saw earlier, portrayed in front of some high rises, it's still pretty cool. Click the thumbnail!
There's a new poster online for Disney/Pixar's upcoming Ratatouille. It's a new international poster, and though it isn't really anything shocking, it is a fun poster to look at. It's a bit low key, but then again I have the feeling that this movie is still flying very much under the radar. Maybe Disney will wait until the publicity storm for Shrek has died down to go into full gear itself.
