Michael Bay wants to keep making Transformers movies

If it's up to Michael Bay, he will keep making Transformers movies as long as they are successcul. At a Korean press conference, Bay said he loves the franchise and that if the first movie got a good reaction from the audience, he wouldn't mind making number 2, 3, 4 and 5 and so on. Also on hand was Megan Fox, who told the press that her favorite character from the movie was Bumblebee, and that she liked Starscream the most in the cartoon, since she thinks he has such a sexy voice. New TV Spot for Transformers

During the MTV Awards, a new TV-spot was unleashed for Transformers, featuring some new footage, and, correct me if I'm wrong, the first chance for us to hear Josh Duhamel's character say something. Besides that, there is a lot of Megan Fox looking very hot, and some more car action. It's not as frantically cut together as the usual TV-spots are, so you are actually able to understand what's going on.

She's about the be the biggest new star in Hollywood, and she showed it off at the MTV Movie Awards. Here's a small gallery of pics of Megan Fox showing the world the Shakespeare tattoo on her back, which reads "We will all laugh at guilded butterflies".

Watch Shia and Megan talk Transformers, diss Spider-Man

Reuters has a small clip up from the press conference Transformers stars Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox gave. In it, you can see Fox talk about what it was like to act with co-stars that weren't really there, while LaBeouf goes on to belittle the Spider-Man franchise. He explains how many big action scenes there were in the Spider-Man movies, and then claims that in just one Transformers movie, there is more than in all the Spider-movies combined. I hope he does realize that it's not just about the action though. Click through for the clip, and try not to be too annoyed by the voice presenting the clip, which is a bit too eager in putting pronunciation on e-ve-ry sin-gle vo-wel of the words he speaks.

Transformers released one day early

This is the summer of new trends: first we have all the big summer movies flying to Japan for their World Premiere, now they are all being released before their original release date. The next movie to follow this trend is Transformers. Planned for an opening on the 4th of July, but now you can already see the movie on the 3rd. Michael Bay is the man who has been championing this release date change, as he cannot wait to get his movie in cinemas and see what audience reaction will be. Thanks Michael!

Transformers 2 and 3 given the early go-ahead

There was already word that there would be more Transformers movies, and now news arrives that the studio behind the movies, Dreamworks, has given the producers the 'early go-ahead' to also make parts 2 and 3. Early go-ahead means that the studio has faith in the project becoming a success, and that the filmmakers can start with screenplays and designs for the rest of the trilogy, and that the plug will only be pulled if the movie doesn't turn into the runaway success everybody thinks it will be.
