Most of the times, fan art takes the form of just one of the characters from a game, or a couple at most. This is one of the ways in which Sam M's piece is different from the norm. The other ways are his professional and funky art style, which makes this piece look like it could have been some real promotional art, and the way that even the most minor characters from the game are portrayed. It's like a yearbook with pics of all the friends you made while playing the game, which, if you ask me, is pretty cool indeed. I have been reading a few of your blogs and noticing that you have zero comments. Im a 16 year old obsessive gamer up late supposed to be doing homework but instead I started looking around for Jet Set Radio Fan art. I saw Falcoon's drawing a little bit earlier on a website that had a collection of the best fan art for JSR/JSRF. I must say that both games to me are thought of interactive art instead of just games. The way that the graphics are done and everything just make the game so...beautiful. I miss the games a gigantic amount and I am literally obsessed with the games as I'm sure most people who played through the game are. I haven't played in a long time but it depresses me seeing a game that is so well done ended without anyone caring. There is nothing I'd rather hear than hearing that they are making a new JSR game for the next gen consoles.
Email me and we can talk further about the game and other things.
