Remember that Casino Royale teaser I posted monday? You can now also see it in English, which is pretty handy if you hardly speak any French. And now that I actually understand what's being said in the beginning, I like this teaser trailer even more. That, and the fact that it's full screen!
A lot of people (myself included) have been looking forward to the first moving images from the new Bond movie. How is Daniel Craig going to look as Bond, and will the new, grittier tone that the producers want to give Bond shine through? Over at YouTube, there's a French teaser trailer for Casino Royale online (so be prepared, Bond is speaking Le Francais) and it looks pretty cool. The first half is in black and white, no doubt to emphasize the fact that we are going back to Bond's roots, in the second the action and explosions are in full colour. And it all looks pretty fun. It's early days, since what you see are mostly quick shots of certain scenes, but there is plenty of potential for a good movie here. Some of the shots even evoke memories of the older Bond movies, and that is probably exactly what the producers have tried to achieve.
