For the past couple of Bond movies, the posters have been sort of lackluster. There wasn't anything fundamentally wrong with them, they just didn't spark any real excitement. When you think about Bond, you think about danger, and with a Pierce Brosnan looked mildly pissed off into the camera, this danger was never really evoked. For Casino Royale, the designers of the poster have gotten things exactly right. It's a simple image, but from seeing it, you know this is not a man to mess with.
Sadly, the poster is not yet online in a much bigger size (click the thumbnail to see a slightly less mini version of the poster), but I'm keeping my eyes open to bring you a bigger version soon.
