According to Latino Review, there are four directors in the running right now to direct the next James Bond movie. The four people in question are quite a mixed bunch, consisting of Marc Foster, Tony Scott, Alex Proyas and Jonathan Mostow. I think any of these directors can bring an interesting vision to the series, so any of these guys would do nicely. Mostow showed with T3 that he can direct a good action scene, Scott's reputation is well known, though he might have to tone down from his usual high octane style a little bit, Proyas can bring an interesting vision while I, Robot showed he can also do action, and Foster, who made a wonderful movie with Finding Neverland, has never done real action and might be the most interesting choice. And it looks like he is actually the front runner for the job, so let's wait and see how this turns out.
