From the moment it was announced there would be a new Bond movie, the speculation on who will be the new Bond girl has been going strong. To be honest, I haven't really been following the names, since at this stage it's mostly just wishful thinking anyway, so I was a bit surprised to see that one of the most popular actresses from my own country is one of the people reportedly in the running for the role. The actress in question is Carice van Houten, and I think she would be perfect for the part. I've seen her in many different roles throughout the years, and I think her versatility would be a great asset for the Bond movies. Plus, she's gorgeous, which is always a plus when it comes to casting this role. Besides, the previous Dutch actress with a big role in a Bond movie was Famke Janssen, whose Xenia Onnatop led to many great roles for her. Somebody else being considered at the moment is British singer Amy Winehouse, but then again you could probably add the name of every young actress who hasn't been in a Bond movie yet to that list anyway.
