Poll: Now that Spider-Man 3 is in the cinemas, which upcoming superhero movie do you look forward to?

Spider-man 3 is the movie that was on top of a lot of people's most wanted lists from the moment it was announced, but now that it's out in theaters, we need a new movie at the top of our most wanted list. And since there are many superhero movies coming up, with some looking better than others, I'd like to know which one of these you would most like to see. Is it Iron Man? The Incredible Hulk? Underdog? Well, maybe not that last one, but there are plenty of others coming up that look interesting enough. You know the routine, the poll is in the right column of this screen, and it's waiting with baited breath for your vote!

Iron Man suited up

A few weeks ago, we had a first look at one of the suits from the upcoming Iron Man movie. It was the first suit that main character Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.) cooks up, and it was interesting to see. Now, however, we can have our first good look at the yellow/red suit that we all know Iron Man by, and it looks terrific. There have been many superhero movies where the heroes didn't look one bit like we knew from the comics, their suits ruined by over-enthusiastic costume designers intent on showing the world their own take on classic outfits. But this suit is just brilliant, and legendary designer Stan Winston deserves a big thumbs up for this. Can't wait to see it in action!

Gwynneth Paltrow joins Iron Man

Gwynneth Paltrow has joined the cast of Iron Man, joining director Jon Favreau and stars Robert Downey Jr. and Terence Howard. Paltrow, who has some experience with the genre thanks to her role in the underrated Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, will play Virginia "Pepper" Potts, the assistant of Tony Starks, the wealthy industrialist who later on becomes Iron Man. Paltrow joining the cast makes me feel even more confident about this movie, a lot more so than some of the other upcoming Marvel movies (I still cannot get excited about Ghost Rider, sorry). It looks like Favreau is slowly building huge cred for his movie, and I cannot wait to see the first images from the flick. Source

Which are the Big Superhero Movies for 2007?

This weekend Superman finally returns to cinemas (sadly not all over the world yet, but for the rest of us Superman is coming in August!), and one of the longest waits in movie history is over. And if you are one of the millions of people who are going to see the movie on opening weekend, then chances are you are also one of the people who will walk out of the theatre afterwards, feeling pleased but also a little empty. After all, the wait is over, so there is nothing left to look forward to. However, there are still plenty of other superhero movies on the way, with 2007 being a banner year for the genre.
