The Curious Case of Benjamin Button has been shooting in Montreal over the past days, and after some pictures of the sets, here are some pictures of Brad Pitt on the set of the movie. He arrived freshly out of Cannes to shoot his scenes in Montreal, which was made to look like old Paris and Moscow. Click through for a gallery.

Benjamin Button brings snow to Montreal

It must have been a strange sight for the people living in the Montreal streets where David Fincher's The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was shooting over the weekend. The filmmakers made their own artificial snow for a scene in which Moscow (for which Montreal is standing in, as well as for Paris) has to be covered in it. People from Montreal have responded with amazement, wondering why the crew didn't come to shoot the movie in the winter in the first place. During winter, however, shooting on Benjamin Button was still very much underway in New Orleans, with no opportunity to pack up and go to Montreal for a real winter shoot. Shooting on the movie will end on Wednesday, ending a very long shoot, and meaning the filmmakers can start with post production.
